About Bluestar Weddings
The idea behind Bluestar was to make the process of choosing music for weddings easier, more diverse and most importantly - more fun! While the desire for a "traditional" wedding remains important to many couples, often the simplest addition to an otherwise typical ceremony can create that extra musical dimension. With the growth of civil ceremonies a whole new musical area has opened up and the result is, with the help of Bluestar, you can make the whole day more memorable for everyone - guests and performers! The partnership that led to the incarnation of Bluestar covers almost every angle of the musical sphere. One partner trained at the Royal College of Music and began a successful career in opera, church music and film music, the other partner studied at Oxford University and moved into music-theatre, performing and conducting popular music. The collective performing experiences of the Bluestar staff now cover venues as far ranging as the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and the Royal Opera House to Wembley, Royal Albert Hall and the Abbey Road Studios. Bluestar musicians appear with groups from the London Symphony Orchestra and English National Opera, to Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) and Dido. From La Traviata to Chicago via Sound of Music and Queen, Bluestar has a depth of experience you can count on. |
